How is my order processed?
Orders begin to be processed as soon as we have all the information required to
cut your garment (correct sizing information and all garment specifications).
After your order is placed your credit card will be debited for the amount of the garment,
plus shipping and handling. As all garments are custom-made, your order cannot be
cancelled once it has been placed.
|
Can you make oversize and tall Items?
All orders placed with Blue Skys are custom-made and therefore we can offer garments in any size.
Oversize and Tall orders however are subject to a surcharge as follows:
| Garment Size |

Oversize: Ladies (anything over Size 16)
Men’s (anything over XL or 48R) | | +15% |
Tall: | | +10% |
Oversize & Tall: | | +20% |
|
|
What is the price conversion for international orders?
All orders are processed in Canadian dollars. If you are making a credit card payment
from outside Canada, the amount charged to your credit card will be determined by your
bank according to the exchange rate the day the transaction is posted.
|
Can I get a refund?
We do not offer refunds on any item. As our products are custom-made it
is crucial that we are provided with the correct sizing information from the start.
Once your order has been started it cannot be cancelled.
We can offer an exchange or a 'credit note' on regularly stocked items (see below).
'Credit notes' are honored at any time and can be used towards
future purchases from Blue Skys.
|
What is your policy on exchanges?
We will honor exchanges on stock items only providing the item you request is available,
and your original order is returned to us within 30 days of receipt.
Returned stock items must be in unused and in re-saleable condition.
*Stock items are those which are not custom-made and available in
standard sizes (ie. Turtlenecks and T-shirts).
|
What's the difference between a 'regular' fit and a 'loose' fit (for adults)?
A 'regular' fit in our SuperMicroft jackets and pants will allow for layering underneath,
i.e. a light sweater under a jacket or leggings under a warm-up pant.
A 'loose' fit is about a half size bigger than 'regular' and is for those people who prefer their garments to have a
looser, roomier fit, allowing for multi-layering underneath.
We have found that most of our customers prefer, and are pleased with, the 'regular' fit – especially for items made of stretch material.
|
How much bigger is 'one year's growth'?
Ordering a garment with 'one year's growth' allows the child to start off with
some room and the ability to grow into their outfit.
For pants, 1" is added to the waist, hip and inseam.
For jackets, it provides for about half a size larger - all depending on the child's
individual measurements.
|
What if my garment doesn't fit?
All Blue Skys custom-made products are professionally sized according to
the measurements you provide us with. Since we don't offer refunds on these
orders it is essential that we be provided with exact measurements from the beginning.
Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding taking your own measurements.
Blue Skys will perform minor alterations to your garment if required. Before returning your garment
please contact us for instructions to entail a successful alteration.
If you are returning a garment for alteration from outside Canada
see the 'Returning Your Garment For Alterations
' section for additional information.
